ra. Risa Caldoza-De Leon is a 46-year old dermatologist who believes that beauty is attainable. Caldoza-De Leon is one of few dermatologists in the Philippines who has extensive training from St. Galen, Switzerland on the use of peptide and stem cells. She espouses top quality, but affordable aesthetics for all of her patients and hands-on with her treatments. She took her BS Medical Technology degree at the University of Sto. Tomas and completed her medical education at De La Salle College of Medicine. Dra. Caldoza-De Leon is medical consultant and product endorser for several companies that include Eveway Corp and MJR Beauty Secrets International. She’s regular lecturer at medical conventions on medical advances. Every year in her home town of Pasay City, Dra. Caldoza-

De Leon’s holds free medical and surgical missions for the city’s residents. She adopted a Daycare Center in Maricaban, Pasay City where Caldoza-De Leon gives out school supplies with her son every June. In addition, Dra. Caldoza-De Leon also teaches Cervical Vaccine awareness to NGOs, which she advocates. Caldoza-De Leon contributes as writer for several health and lifestyle magazines, and regular TV contributor for TV shows, such as CNN Philippines and Stylelist. Caldoza-De Leon received an Empowered Women of Achievement Award in 2016. She was feted as Best Dermatologist for 2016 by Gawad Amerika in Los Angeles, CA on November 2016. She was also one of Rupert Jacinto’s Faaaabulous VII 15 Women held at the Manila Peninsula Hotel. She accepted another trophy for dermatology at the Global Golden Heart Awards held in Yokosuka, Japan and recognized as World Class Outstanding Dermatologist 2017 at the World Class Excellence Japan-Philippines Award held at the Heritage Hotel in Manila. So I try to take care of my skin by having an extensive beauty regimen and getting adequate sleep. I use lather on at least 5 beauty products on my face morning and night. And I rarely wear make-up on regular days. In fact, I only put baby powder on my face when I go to work. A clear and blemish and free skin is the best foundation,” She laughs. “Medical science is a girl’s best friend nowadays. It may be costly, but when your face and skin are tweaked with the right procedures and the right doctor, beauty can be attained. Just the added confidence it brings is worth it! That’s why I never stop studying and learning. I attended conventions all over the world just to be trained and to keep abreast with the latest trends. Beauty truly is evolving.” Caldoza-De Leon holds the title of Miss Classic Philippines 2017, and will compete on June 2017 for the Miss Asia International Pageant in Malaysia. “The world of beauty pageantry is new time to me, but when the opportunity opened for me to represent the Philippines, I grabbed the chance. This is the perfect way of empowering, inspiring and motivating other women my age. It’s still is a competition and the pressure to take home the crown is intense, but for me, it’s more of competing with myself, pushing myself to new limits and stepping outside my comfort zone,” she shares, “I firmly believe that I am also only as good as my team, and I am very blessed to have them behind me. Mr. Ovette Ricalde, the mother of all pageants, is my mentor; Tatta Saguin has been regularly training me how to walk, to sit, to wave, everything. Inyaki Yuson has been transforming me with his make-up magic. I’ve been dolled up by Mikee Andrei’s wonderful creations and will wear his long gown for the Mrs. Asia International stint. No less than Patrick Starr Isorena will do my national costume.” This past February, Caldoza-De Leon was chose and crowned as one of the ambassadors for Miss International 6 HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

I ENJOY pushing myself to new limits and stepping outside my comfort zone

World that launched its inaugural edition in a press conference at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This beauty pageant celebrates married women and espouses Building Respect and Value for Everyone (BRAVE). BRAVE advocates mainly to stop bullying. “The women of today wear many hats – mother, wife, professional. It’s hard but finding a balance where you meet everyone’s needs, including your own, is important. Proper time management allows me to be more productive and lessen the stresses of daily life. I’m very fortunate that I have very dependable and trustworthy staff that I can delegate some of my work to,” she relates. “I work hard and I try to reward myself. I still love to sing and dance and party once in a while.” Today, Caldoza-De Leon is now a mother to 3 boys and a grandmother to a beautiful baby girl. She is an avid traveller, a voracious reader and a pro at practical shooting.

About Fences

roy Maxson (Denzel Washington) makes his living as a sanitation worker in 1950s Pittsburgh. Maxson once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but was deemed too old when the major leagues began admitting black athletes. Bitter over his missed opportunity, Troy creates further tension in his family when he squashes his son’s (Jovan Adepo) chance to meet a college football recruiter.

BENEFICIARIES AND FOUNDER’S PROFILE Proceeds of WCEJA will benefit the civic and scholarship programs of Ai Wo Agetai “I Wanna Give Love” (NPO in Japan) and Voice of an Angel Foundation (VOAA) in Philippines scholars of Our Lady of Fatima De San Pedro School based in San Pedro City, Laguna, Philippines. Beneficiaries of the scholarship program belong to the marginalized strata of the community. These are poor school-age children but with high dreams and great potentials and if given the opportunity to pursue their studies would definitely open the door of new hope for a better future.

Because of her God-given talent, at a tender age, Emma had already been competing in various provincial and national singing contests in the Philippines until she was honed to be a professional performing artist and has travelled in major cities of the world as a multi-awarded performer. At the same time doing charity works using her voice to help numerous scholars who are now professionals and successful in life and doing charity works as well. Emma, also known as “EMCOR” can belt out songs in English, Filipino, Spanish and Japanese with equal ease. Being a true educator at heart, Emma founded the OUR LADY OF FATIMA DE SAN PEDRO SCHOOL in 2003 not only to offer quality Basic Education for pre-school and grade school children but equally important is to provide scholarship opportunities to poor but deserving students. She is also an active civic leader. She has been the president of Manila Sunrise Lions Club for about a decade and official representative of International Conventions who’s first and foremost undertaking is outreach and charitable activity. She is also an associate member of different International Lions Clubs particularly in Japan. In 2010, while still continuing her singing career, she opened the Emcor Jazz Music Bar. a blushing 16 and the rest, is as they say, history. Always the pragmatist, Helly attended college so she would have a vocational alternative, and graduated with honors as a Pharmacy Technician. The City of Angels and agents beckoned this angelic coed as it has for so many before her, this super nova booked a one way airplane ticket to her dream and still flying high. She modeled in Amber Rose’s Slut Walk fashion show last year and appeared in several social media videos that hit millions of views as well as appeared in a few music videos. Her focus is modeling, but acting opportunities are knocking on her door as she makes cameos in a new TV show “Four Kings” and two horror films “Charlie Charlie” and “WILES” (follow her on IG for projects releases). Helly is continuing to charm Hollywood executives with her knockout combination of inner and outer allure. With so much interest and drive, there’s no stopping Ms. Cee from becoming in the eyes and from the lips of many a house hold name.
