QYResearch MIM (metal injection molding) is a metalworking process by which finely-powdered metal is mixed with a measured amount of binder material to comprise a "feedstock" capable of being handled by plastic processing equipment through a process known as injection molding. Sintering is the process of compacting and forming a solid mass of material by heat or pressure without melting it to the point of liquefaction. MIM (metal injection molding) requires the use of MIM (Metal Injection Molding) furnace to complete the sintering process.

The MIM furnace industry has a relatively high concentration and the top five accounted for 51.35% share in 2016. Cremer is the leader in Europe and the sales volume reached 32 unit in 2016. There are two kinds of products in the Europe market: batch furnaces and continuous furnaces. Continuous furnace is the main product. MIM furnace can be used in mechanical, automotive industry and consumer electronics. Automotive industry is the main product application, which got 50% share in 2016. Germany is the largest consumption region and the share reached 34.59% in 2016. The shares of France, UK, Russia, Italy, Poland and Sweden were 17.30%, 5.41%, 5.41%, 8.11%, 4.32% and 8.65% then. The Europe MIM furnace sales market will still have a certain amount of growth owing to the increasing of demand. The consumption will increase at a growth rate of about 4.3%. The main consumption region will be in Germany.
