This new issue of the Journal of Global Catholicism studies K-12 Catholic education in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and the USA. Guest edited by Quentin Wodon, lead economist at the World Bank and creator of the Global Catholic Education project, the issue reflects on educators’ emerging pedagogical experiments and strategies in light of the sometimes-tense religious diversity that characterizes everyday life in these regions. In addition, based on interviews for the Global Catholic Education project, Wodon shares examples of how educators around the world are implementing Pope Francis' vision outlined in the Global Compact on Education. Finally in this issue, Editor-in-Chief Mathew N. Schmalz introduces a new series of "Interviews in Global Catholic Studies," featuring Catholic studies scholars and leaders at the university level. The interviews are available in both video and transcript form.
