Well done Year 13!
The majority of our students head off to Russell Group Universities!
During all of the A Level results turmoil and the will they/won’t they accept teacher assessed grades question, one thing remained positive throughout the whole experience and that was our students’ university places.
Not only did both our Oxford University offer holders get the results they needed to get into the world’s number 1 university but we managed two Medics and a Dentist too. That’s not to take away from the many students who got into do Law and Engineering as well as other competitive courses at the UK’s top universities.
Over 50% of our university students will be starting at a Russell Group University and many are on courses that are in the top 25 in the country for that specific course. This sort of result in our second year of A Levels is a truly remarkable feat. The current Upper Sixth are set to be equally, if not better placed to achieve some great university destinations and about a 25% of the cohort are going for Oxbridge or early entry courses. A big thanks you to all of the Sixth Form team for all their support in making this happen.
