“From January to June 2011, Christopher Holloran & Andrea Zavala Folache lived and worked in Xiamen, China. They made and exhibited artworks and performances but this book contains everything but the work.
In between their ‘real’ work, they made notes, doodles, scenarios and photographs that were never meant to be seen. Together, they had around 1000 drawings and documents so they decided to compile and layer it all together as one.
Like a burp or sneeze that you can’t help but let out, the result of this book was an unconscious, unfiltered, unpremeditated stream of honesty and spontaneity neatly compiled into one comprehensive compendium.”
