The new Cruise Ship Terminal in the port of Seville was built with re-used shipping containers in 45 days. It is now a flexible multipurpose space. Between cruise arrivals, it is rented as an exhibition pavilion, a showroom or even as a concert space. The composition is simple and sustainable, in harmony with its urban environment. The open space required is obtained in spite of the limited width of the container. Double-height spaces increase the space inside. Windows let in air to ventilate the inside spaces and special white painting avoids excessive warming. The industrial nature of the containers is evident.
