NNaples Custom Homes emerges from the well-established roots of Naples Kitchen & Bath, a company that has been an essential part of the Naples home remodeling scene for a quarter-century. Building upon their extensive experience in kitchen and bath renovations, this respected local business is now expanding their services to include custom home construction. By leveraging their expertise in creating beautiful, functional living spaces, Naples Custom Homes aims to bring the same level of quality and attention to detail to entire home builds that clients have come to expect from their kitchen and bath renovations.
Brian Raymond, President of both Naples, Kitchen & Bath and Naples Custom Homes, saw a need for luxury homes in the up-and-coming Bayshore Arts District and opted to build his first model home there, launching his new business. Employing a strategy that would balance the budget — knowing this was a first of its kind in that community where primarily commercial projects are emerging — yet still allow him to showcase the company’s talent for design and construction, he built a two-story, elegant coastal-style home at an affordable price. And it sold before it was even completed. u
To maximize the home’s appeal, the design focuses on the outdoor living spaces— it’s Naples, after all. “The rear of the home is the main selling point,” Raymond says. “We focused on the boating life and outdoor entertaining.” The custom dock, pool, and multiple outdoor living areas — including a complete outdoor kitchen — check all the boxes for prospective homeowners. While many homes in the area sit on stilts, Naples Custom Homes went the extra mile to raise the lot to accommodate two full stories of indoor living.
And those areas appeal to a Naples audience as well. In conjunction with Laurie Walter, Owner of Cardamon Design, the team delivered on the promise of luxury. “This is a fully curated package with furnishings, custom lighting, window coverings, artwork, and more,” Raymond says. The kitchen features high-end appliances from Fuse Appliances and Crystal Cabinet Works cabinetry from Naples Kitchen & Bath, of course. The team also partnered with Design Works, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, and Wilson Lighting for the luxury finishes throughout. u

Walter harnessed the resources at the International Design Source for furniture and artwork. She says, “We approached the whole floor plan and the furniture plan from a very livable, functional aspect while keeping in mind that this might be for a family with children, or it might be for couples inviting other couples to come visit.”
One of Walter’s favorite spots in the home is the loft. “I love the view looking from that loft area,” she says. “Looking down the staircase at the staggered lighting is very unique. And to add a little local flavor, we selected the image of the Naples pier to hang above the desk.”
Each custom touch throughout the home is a testament to the ambition and experience that comes from 25 years of designing homes in the Naples area. “Some people were surprised this home sold before it was complete,” Raymond says, “but it didn’t surprise me. We’re very process-driven, and we dedicate an entire team to every project, not just a project manager. This project validates what Naples Custom Homes can do.” n

The Pine Ridge Family & Guest Retreat is a stunning example of how a thoughtful home addition can transform a property into an entertainment paradise. This ambitious project expanded the existing home by 3,899 square feet, creating a seamless blend of old and new that caters to both family and guests alike.
The centerpiece of the addition is an extended family room featuring an expansive dining area and a comfortable sitting space, complete with a massive custom stone fireplace. The room’s crowning glory is its 2,000 square feet of rare white oak tongue-and-groove ceilings, adding a touch of rustic elegance.
For movie enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art theater room awaits, boasting ten large reclining leather chairs and a fiber-optic starry night ceiling. The room’s entrance is graced by 200-year-old solid antique wooden doors, lending a sense of history and grandeur. As an added feature, the theater doubles as a golf simulator, providing year-round entertainment. u

The addition includes two guest bedrooms, ensuring comfortable accommodations for visitors. A full bath and two powder baths have been added to cater to guests’ needs. For rainy days, a game room offers card and game tables, as well as a cozy reading niche.
The outdoor space has been significantly upgraded to complement the interior additions. The existing pool patio has been extended to seamlessly connect with the new structure. Multiple sitting areas, firepits, and a plunge bath have been incorporated to enhance outdoor entertaining. For the sports enthusiasts, a pickleball court and putting green have been added to the property.
The project faced several technical challenges, including relocating the septic field to the front of the house without infringing on easements and resolving water issues on the rear and sides of the lot. The builders also ensured that all exterior materials, including roof tiles, windows, doors, stucco, and trim details, matched the existing home perfectly.
This ambitious renovation has successfully created a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, transforming the Pine Ridge property into a versatile retreat perfect for both intimate family gatherings and large-scale entertaining. n
