Your next chance to see all the trends is here! The Fall Parade of Homes runs two weekends, Sept. 1920 and 26-27. As you are comfortable, please take advantage of the opportunity to see what our members have showcased. Visit paradefm.com for all the details and guidance on how the event will be conducted in this ever changing pandemic situation. Even after postponement, the Spring Parade of Homes went smoothly in June! We applaud the public and our members for their support in following the event’s COVID-19 protocol to help make it safe. Builders on the Parade told us that interest was stronger than ever from those who want to invest in a new home. There has never been a better time to upgrade and take advantage of record low interest rates! Like the spring event, Builders, Realtors and staff working the homes will be required to wear a face mask and no more than ten people will be allowed in a home at time. 6

When touring the houses, you:

On the cover

• Must wear a face mask while in the home; • Will have one way in and a separate way out; • Should maintain a 6-foot social distance while waiting to enter and while touring the home; • Should refrain from touching surfaces as much as possible; • Must wear disposable coverings over your shoes that will be provided. • Read the full protocol on page 16. If you feel comfortable joining us for the Parade this year, please do your part to ensure a safe experience for all. Protect yourself and others by following the safety protocol. If you are not comfortable seeing homes during Parade hours, please use this magazine and our website, paradefm.com. Builders are happy to arrange private showings and many have photos and video links online. Remember, a home is not just a good investment, it is a haven. It is your safe place and provides the security and stability that are essential to you and your family.

This year’s cover features a home constructed by Fiske Construction, LLP, in Fargo’s Rocking Horse Farm. It is home #35 on the Fall Parade of Homes: design and functionality meet in this impressive four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. The beauty is all in the details. Natural light, custom metal work, hardwood flooring and thoughtful space planning gives the home a consistent, welcoming aesthetic. Many unique materials and design make it a stop you will not want to miss! Fiske Construction was started in 1974 by Boyd Fiske. Boyd retired in 1998, and his son, Gary Fiske, is carrying on the family tradition. Boyd built a superior reputation for his quality workmanship and as a forward-thinking builder, and Gary has continued that tradition invigorated by new ideas and designs. Their desire to provide dream homes for their clients with an intense focus on the details and planning, has distinguished them as a premier builder in the community. Fiske Construction has been a member of Home Builders Association of F-M since 2002. Learn more at fiskeconstruction.com. Get inspired! See more homes like this on the Fall Parade of Homes.
