allowed, if this design option is called out specifically on the house plans when you are submitting for a permit.

The Fall Lineup is coming!

Another item which we will be requiring on the house plans at the time of submittal will be the location of the ufer ground rod (rebar) attached to the footing rebar. This will help the contractors to know ahead of time on placement and make it easier to find this rebar if it were to be accidentally cut-off or buried during construction. Moorhead Building Codes will start construction hours in May which will run through September. Our office will be open Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 4:30PM. Office staff will be available for permit requests, plan submissions, and inspections scheduling. Please contact us with any questions, comments or concerns at 218-299-5424. We look forward to working with you this construction season! Sincerely,
