The office team would like to wish all our wonderful CAREGivers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for all your hard work over the past year, it really is appreciated by us and by our clients. 2019 has been an incredibly successful year which has seen us celebrating our 10th Anniversary. We were recognised as a Top 20 Recommended Home Care Provider in Yorkshire & The Humber after receiving glowing reviews by our clients and last month we were finalists in the York Press Business Awards. Earlier in the year we achieved first place for Think Big 2019, a Home Instead National Award and also we were recognised as a 5 Star Employer by WorkBuzz, as a result of positive feedback from our employees. All in all a great year! A special shout out to all of you who are working over the festive period, we really do appreciate it. We hope that you all enjoy the festive period with family and friends and here’s to 2020!
December 2019
CAREGivers Long Service Awards We’ve had a busy month here at Home Instead York in terms of long service awards. Many congratulations to Bex who collected her restaurant voucher and gold badge after completing five years’ service with Home Instead Senior Care York & Ryedale. Bex is highly thought of by both her colleagues and clients and was
nominated as Home Instead Senior Care York & Ryedale’s CAREGiver of the Year for 2019. Bex is one of our non drivers and gets around her clients with the help of her trusty bicycle – in all weathers! Congratulations also to Gill who is celebrating 4 years with Home Instead, Cath and Shirley for completing 3 years’ service,
and to Helen and Alina who have completed their first year. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication that you show to our clients on a daily basis. We love having you on our ‘Outstanding’ team!
We’ve been enjoying the Christmas festivities here in the office! We had a variety of festive jumpers on display for the Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day! Tracy popped in with her home made Christmas cake and fudge for us all which went down a treat!
A big thank you to all CAREGivers who came to the Christmas Party at the Mercure Hotel. It was lovely to see so many of you there. It was a great night and we hope you all enjoyed it. It certainly looks like you did!
Delivering Christmas
CAREGiver Lucy has been busy with her clients this month. Keith enjoys nothing better than a good game of dominoes! And Barbara has baked her Christmas cake with a little help from Lucy!
