5 Star feedback from families

★★

It’s holiday season and we’ve decided to kick off our very own ‘Bags on Tour’ competition. Over the next few months we have challenged CAREGivers of Home Instead Senior Care York & Ryedale to send in photographs of their summer escapades, the one catch being, the photo must feature a Home Instead Bag. We’ve already had a few entries sent across from the North Yorkshire Gin Festival, Sutton & Huby Show and the Nottingham Flower Show. Keep an eye out over the next few months to see what our CAREGivers have been up to! Interested in getting involved in our ‘Bags on Tour’ Competition? Let us know, and we will send you your very own Home Instead Bag!

‘Bags on Tour’ competition begins

August 2018

The team at Home Instead Senior Care are always very proud to receive positive reviews from clients. Our aim is to provide a standard of care and support that we would be happy for our own families to receive. It means a lot when our clients or their families take the trouble to give their feedback and recognise the effort that our CAREGivers have made. Earlier this month, Christine, the daughter of two of our clients, provided this fantastic feedback via the independent review service homecare.co.uk: “Home Instead Senior Care (York & Malton) have been absolutely amazing and I can’t praise them highly enough. Every member of the team has shown respect, concern and a determination to do their absolute best for my parents. As a result, mum and dad feel secure seeing the same friendly faces every week and this allowed me to feel more relaxed knowing they are being so well looked after.” Thank you.

‘Stay Nourished’ campaign is launched Home Instead are very excited to announce the launch of our latest public education campaign Stay Nourished, which is based on the subject of nutrition. We know that one of the highest levels of concern when considering care options for family members is nutrition. We know that older people when living alone can be particularly vulnerable to becoming malnourished and this

is caused by a number of different factors such as social isolation, bereavement, lack of family support, lack of motivation, dementia and many others. That’s why we’ve come up with the campaign Stay Nourished and made an information booklet full of useful information. If you’d be interested in getting your hand on one of the booklets, give us a call on 01904 690884.

Jean takes a day out with our Julia Home Instead York & Ryedale’s CAREGiver Julia took some pictures of her recent trip out with her client Jean. They visited York Minster and lit candles, admired the flower boxes at Dean Court Hotel and then went for a cuppa at Cakes D-licious at Clifton Green. Would you be interested in organising a special trip out with one of our CAREGivers? Give us a call to get sorted on 01904 690884.
