Alton Baker Park comprises over 400 acres and is Eugene’s largest riverfront park and is the United States only Nobel Laureate park. The park houses a paved 12 mile riverbank trail section, Pre’s trail system, an off-leash dog park, Cuthbert Amphitheatre, the Science Factory, Picnic Areas, an 18 hole disc golf course, beautiful landscaping, duck ponds, and more. Many festivals, including the July 4th art in the vineyard festival and running/walking events, take place at the park each year. Stop by the Brokett Family Education Alcove and celebrate American recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize. For more information visit: www.altonbakerpark.com

Skinner Butte Park Skinner Butte Park is one of Eugene’s hidden gems and ties into/extends the riverfront park system west of Alton Baker on the south side of the Willamette river. It offers fun play areas for kids. The park has Spray Play, Sand Play and a great playground. There is a rock column climbing wall on the west side of the butte. Additionally there is a driving route and walking/hiking trails to the top of the butte. Skinner Butte Park also has a Veterans Memorial. For more information visit: www.skinnersbutte.com
