Comments about April’s Mem-

bership Meeting from the Communications Committee/Honest Slate team: “Janet was professional and a calming presence as always.” “The Co-op was in good hands.” “Tech queries were handled deftly. Avery knew exactly what MOs were requesting; clearly his experience was showing. He has the skills needed and is incredibly capable and calm.” “Becca was the star! She was enthusiastic and well-spoken. Sharing her story made her participation relatable.” Regarding a scarcity of candidates—a first for Honest Weight during this pandemic year—an ENC member mentioned how lacking the opportunity to talk person-to-person during this election cycle may have hampered efforts at recruiting for Board seats. Ordinarily the committee would have been able to reach out in real time via in-store tabling.
