Rotary Club Discusses Plans for 100th Anniversary
The Trenton Rotary Club discussed plans for its 100th anniversary celebration during the club's monthly meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19 at the BTC Bank community room.
Michael Ormsby presided at the meeting, Dan Wilford gave the prayer and Brian Upton was the sergeant at arms.

Diane Lowrey, celebration chairman, led discussion about the celebration, which will be held on March 9 at the Cross Hall Coffee Shop. Invitations are being sent to Rotary International officials as well as past presidents who are no longer members of the club. Ideas for the celebra- tion program were discussed and members will be asked to submit memories they have of their time in Rotary to be included as part of the program. Members were also asked to provide any historical Rotary items they may have which could be shared at the celebration.
Gary Schuett from the Grundy County Council on Aging addressed the club in regard to the need for volunteers at the North 65 Center and the delivery of meals to homebound seniors. He said that in 2022, over 37,000 meals were delivered to the homebound by around 80 volunteers, who also do wellness
