MSpy Product Review mSpy Review There is a world of difference between “spyware” and “spy software.” Spyware is illegal and is typically placed on computers and mobile devices for the purpose of stealing private information. Once it is turned on it can run non-stop with only a minimal drain on the battery. There is nothing on the phone or in any directory accessible from the control menu to show that mSpy is installed. Once it is running, you don’t have to ever access the phone again but can read all the communications via the Internet on a regular computer or even from your mobile device. How can this be legal? It is legal, but some cell phone services do not permit this app to be used on their networks. Services like Verizon specifically disallow spy software like mSpy in their terms and conditions even if this is a phone provided to a person on a company account and you are the employer. Instances in which a parent wants to monitor a minor are blurry. You will have to call your carrier to
find out what is allowed and what isn’t. Currently, there is no specific law prohibiting you from installing software on a mobile phone that you are in control of. “In control of” means to have it in your hands.
