What an interesting presentation player. I could not help downloading the TouchShowtrial version and its sample PowerPoint file to have a try. The experience is wonderful. I think it is very useful for those who are not proficient at PowerPoint player but have to use it often because Touchshowcan do a very cool presentation in a very easy way. For example, Touchshowprovides very special picture and text effects that will impress your listeners. Since PowerPoint only has fade-in, fade-out, people must be shocked when they see difference.
Everything in the page is movable, interoperable during the presentation. You can highlight a text only by sliding over it, move and rotate pictures, and interact with flash animations. We need not spend much time in making animations. Even a common powerpoint will be interactive and vivid. Touchshowintroduces flash animation in a very nature way since it is said that the software itself is developed by flash. It is no need to learn the complex VBA program, no difficult flash object. What you need is only to drag a rectangle into the slide and add a hyperlink to connect the shape to a flash animation file. It is hard to clearly distinguish the border of flash animation from the PowerPoint slides during the presentation, if the flash animation is transparent. It just looks like that you have designed a running slide. We spend much time in looking for a good PowerPoint template. But what will be better than a slide with a moving element itself? Touchshowuses hyperlink in many ways. Hyper linking a picture to a directory, the picture will be not only a still image, but a media holder during presentation. Pictures, movies, flash animations will be shown one by one in that position with your mouse sliding away. It is much easier than making many many complex powerpoint triggers. There are still many interesting functions that I have not explored yet. It is said that the ipad and android powerpoint player is also under development. Why not try by yourself?
