For the tourist attraction, there have been an 85 foot long statue of Buddha, made up in Bronze with a seated bronze gesture of Buddha. This is named as “Bronze Tian Tan Buddha” which is the world’s largest Buddha raised to a height of 26 meters. It is located featured in a monastery in the Nong Plateau named Po Lin Monastery.
The Nong Ping 360, the cable car facility was placed under the replacement maintenance for 6 months. It will again start working from the month of July in 2017.Generally the journey begins from the hotel lobby of the resident visitor and head straight to Lantau. This drive will be around 45 minutes.
The Pui O which is an historic old seaside village which is placed right at the middle of the South Lantau island. This will make the visitors to have a glance to the historic monuments which was built late in the 19th century including several old and ancient ancestral halls and a temple known as Tin Has temple that was built since 1798.
