CONCEPT HOW IT CAME ABOUT
PP DESIGN JOURNAL
CONCEPT FEEDBACK Through consultation about what i wanted to do for my plus+ program, i had a more coherent and convincing justification for it. "....bringing out the 'invisible' aspects behind the marriage progress..." "... continual cycle; parents come and get solemnized then coming back, bringing their children along for activities or just to reminisce...." feedback: bubble diagrams still not well developed :( PP DESIGN JOURNAL

INTERIM exploration on the staggering of floor height to give spaces their unique activities sunken stage: small scale, can be used as seating, 360 degrees spectator view workshop area: medium scale, multipurpose use (work space, observation, seating), gives a degree of privacy
INTERIM extremely bad floor plans and lack of direction was super real!! rushed for the submission without having any idea in mind,,, hence, producing this atrocious- !! feedback: awkward corners,,,, still not developed. is still a bubble diagram. (summarized) not much to be said with the minuscule amount of work to comment on!! (sadness,,) SO MUCH TO WORK ON COUGHSDGHSND

CAFE SEATING AREA not drastic/ dramatic enough
FEATURE STAIRCASE WITH PERFORMANCE AREA performance area is super small... could be bigger
GALLERY AREA neglected,,, is on a different floor from workshop space
WAITING AREA not drastic/ dramatic enough still quite isolated
REST AREA/ REGISTRA ROOMS/ ADMINISTRATIVE AREA quite a sparse render idk lol
OFFICE COWORKING SPACE focused a lot on the office area but the critique panel could only comment on my solemnisation rooms! gr8!
ENTRANCE FROM SPICE GARDEN AND FCP what to feellllll
MAIN ENTRANCE not drastic/ dramatic enough crit panel:" BOH right at the front? *uncomfortable*" so much to say! wow,,,
Courtyard Workshop space
crit- simple may be for the population which cannot afford expensive venues. the rooms do not need to be a blank white room. can be more special in terms of pre and post-solemnisation areas. move into a space for them to feel something!
Courtyard Workshop space
Quite proud of how this render turned out! This space is for workshops to be held and visitors can take their time exploring through the irregular arrangement, because meeting people requires a change of routine and setting.
SELF THOUGHTS
E X T E R I O R i felt that my building exterior was seriously neglected and i had no direction for it, nor does it reflect my concept.
AND SO SO MANY DOUBTS....
L A Y O U T it is very rectilinear... feels like i am not doing enough!
S P A C E S many things were very watered down in finals despite exploration, hence could be further emphasized in DS4. also, some ideas were lost and did not show at all/ not obvious enough in final presentation.
