Grades 5-8 Dance Unlimited Learn fun dance steps and combinations in this upbeat class! Discover proper jazz technique as well as hip hop moves and combinations. Grades 3-6 Twin Cities Magic Academy Discover Magic & Twin Cities Magic Academy are rolling out this all-new Blue Wand course to help children build confidence and learn communication skills. Be the first in Minnesota to experience this new course! Learn the different types of magic from dinner table tricks to big stage illusions, and discover the secrets to becoming a true magician as each lesson reveals an important life skill to help build confidence. Each lesson comes with a custom magic prop, a top secret file folder, and a secret word to unlock bonus videos in the online video vault. This life-changing program builds self-confidence and develops critical communication skills in a fun and unique way. No prior magic experience required. The course will be taught over two days. Special Interest MN Spelling and Vocabulary Bee Workshop

Grades 1-8 Center for Academic Excellence This fall course will help you improve your spelling and widen your vocabulary! These skills will aid in writing, reading, giving speeches, filling out college applications, and more. Throughout the program, you will not only learn the meaning of a wide variety of words, but also how to use them in your writing, expanding your vocabulary, and establishing research and study skills. Features of the program include: memorization techniques, analysis of words, and Greek and Latin root exploration — all skills needed for portions of ACT/SAT. The program culminates with the MN Interschool Spelling Bee Competition on Dec. 7 at Eisenhower Community Center. Hopkins Youth Spelling Bee

Grades 1-8 Center for Academic Excellence Join the Hopkins Youth Spelling Bee! Compete against kids from Wayzata, Lakeville, and Eastern Carver County in a daylong event. There will be two levels: grades 1-4 and 5-8. The morning will consist of written and oral exams, then lunch will be served, with the day culminating in the final oral round in the afternoon. Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners from each level. Ages 11-16 Sari Johnson Become the most popular babysitter in your neighborhood! Chinese Dance

Fun for 5th & 6th graders Friday, November 15 Grades 5-6 • Kids & Company Staff Unleash your game skills with basketball, ping pong, trivia, a Magic® tourney, and much more! Dance the night away with a DJ and Dance Dance Revolution®. Enjoy snacks available for purchase. The junior high pool will be open for swimming. Family Swim Saturdays Join us for a season of fun family swimming at Eisenhower Community Center pool. Lifeguards are on duty during all family swim hours. (This is not a swim lesson.)
