Progress your career

There are apprenticeship opportunities available between Level 4 and Level 5. The level you complete will depend on prior qualifications, job role and experience. Apprenticeships can take up to 2–3 years to complete. The apprenticeship standard you achieve will be nationally recognised and valued by employers and equivalent to Higher Education certificate or Foundation Degree.

LEVEL 4 ACCOUNTANCY TAXATION PROFESSIONAL

The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows you to develop a wide range of skills.

Entry requirements:

You must have already achieved AAT Level 3 Diploma. Initial assessment and diagnostic testing on English and Maths will take place prior to commencement of the apprenticeship (Unless already achieved A-C, 4-9 GCSE or equivalent English and maths).

Assessment

Our assessor will visit you on a regular basis and support you with developing your electronic portfolio. During these meetings observations, question and answer sessions and reviews will take place. All teaching, learning and assessment for the qualification will take place in the workplace. English and Maths will be included if you have not already achieved Level 2 English and maths (A–C GCSE) you must study for and take the tests for Level 2 English and maths and achieve Level 2 English and maths.

Progression

The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
