Brighton Center’s Junior Board is a young professionals group designed to support Brighton Center’s mission of creating opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support, social services, education, employment and leadership. Interested In Joining?

3 KEY CRITERIA FOR SUCCESSFUL JUNIOR BOARD ENGAGEMENT

JUNIOR BOARD GOALS

Develop a group of young leaders who will serve as advocates for Brighton Center

Give young professionals looking for engagement the opportunity to become civically involved in the community

Help young professionals create a network of other likeminded persons

Provide capacity to Brighton Center’s programs through volunteer activities

Engage in fundraising activities

MEMBER BENEFITS

Meet and network with like-minded philanthropic individuals

Connect with professionals from Brighton Center’s staff and board

Interact with Brighton Center customers through events and volunteer activities

Opportunity to engage with a member from the Brighton Center leadership team or Board of Directors

Junior Board members will attend two key annual events organized and executed by the Junior Board (e.g. fundraising event, volunteer event)

All Junior Board members must attend one additional volunteer event in addition to the flagship volunteer event hosted by the Junior Board

Each Junior Board member is responsible for contributing $100 per year (via fundraising or personal contribution)

A full commitment to attending meetings and participating in events

During our last fiscal year, we impacted the lives of 24,986 individuals, from infants to older adults, across all 8 counties of Northern Kentucky and beyond. We provide a community of support through 8 areas of impact and our 45 programs.

You can schedule a time to volunteer any time of year. The first half of the year is a great time to volunteer or gather a group to volunteer. From planning a Valentines Day party, to hosting a social event for kids, teens or seniors, to getting outside to beautify one of Brighton Center’s properties…there are many ways to engage and support Brighton Center’s mission.
