For over 135 years, Ocean House resort hotel offered one of New England’s most spectacular ocean views. It required updates and two new wings were added. Structural integrity and hurricane-force protection were of the utmost importance, and ultimately Kolbe windows and doors were selected. Over 500 aluminum clad wood windows and 123 doors were installed, including double hungs with custom curved glass, patio doors, and entrance doors. The original true divided lites were replicated with 5/8" wide performance divided lites. K-Force® impact upgrades did not detract from the traditional styling, and options met ADA requirements.
