The breadth of choices for laminate materials is truly unlimited. Recreate the beauty and richness of real wood veneers, choose a solid color laminate for a bold statement or specify a pattern to create a dimensional surface. High Pressure Decorative Laminate (HPDL) is one of the most durable surfaces available. Made of several layers of resin-coated material with a printed decorative paper fused together under high heat and pressure to create a single rigid laminate sheet, it is a common surface for many building products. For doors, HPDL is often specified when uniformity in the surface material is essential, so doors present a consistent appearance in each opening. Marquis Series doors are often found in the Health Care & Mixed-Use segments. For added durability, Marquis doors can be specified with a HighImpact Durable Edge. See page 11 for edge details.

DurableDoor doesn’t need protective edge guards or kick plates of any kind, so you can avoid the institutional look that many of these “armored” doors can take on. The high-impact durable surface material is available in a variety of color options to complement standard wood veneer choices. A selection of standard solid colors and patterns are also offered.

H I G H - I M PA C T E D G E S Doors in busy occupancy areas found in hospitals, schools or hotels get abused. Things like wheeled equipment repeatedly bang into them and over time, what gets hit first quickly begins to show wear. Often it’s not the surface of the door that takes that initial blow - it’s the edges that are the most vulnerable. High-impact edges come standard with DurableDoor and can be specified with other face materials including veneers (Signature Series) and laminates (Marquis Series). This integrated edge can take the brunt of impact and will remain intact, protecting the face material of the door so the door’s surface retains its aesthetic appeal through the years. Because the vertical edges have no crevices, all surfaces can be cleaned, quickly and easily. SOLID PANEL CONSTRUCTION

STILE & RAIL CONSTRUCTION

Carte Blanche doors are manufactured utilizing a cutto-size solid composite slab with routed profiles that create the illusion of stile and rail construction with no visible stile and rail joints.

Carte Blanche PN (CBPN) doors are made from the same composite materials as solid panel doors but are fabricated piece by piece with mortise and tenonjoinery as a true stile and rail door.

Edges are constructed in a proprietary process whereby face grain MDF is inserted into both door edges. This inserted strip provides a denser, more attractive face and a solid, non-splitting hinge base that outperforms traditional wood blocking for screw-holding.

If you want all the doors in your facility to match exactly in both grain and color, look to PerfectMatch™ doors. Made of Thermal Fused Low Pressure Decorative Laminate (LPDL), the surface material presents a consistent appearance from door to door.

ImpressionsTM doors are available in a variety of core materials including heavy duty, fire-rated, sound-rated, radiation-shielded or environmental to meet your project’s requirements.

In economy applications, where a door’s surface color and grain need to be repeated in each opening, LPDL doors are a great choice to specify. PerfectMatch Doors are suited for the entry-level Hospitality

Market Segment as well as TI (Tenant Improvement) projects in the Office Market Segment. PerfectMatch Doors can be factory machined to your specifications or they can be ordered as a stock door to meet the deadlines of quick-turnaround projects.

Painted doors are a economical way to add flair to a space. Impressions doors are a good choice for the Office and Mixed Use/ Multi-Family Markets. You can customize PerfectMatch doors with design options like glass and glazing options.
