What is the secret to Legend’s long-lasting success? It’s cellular PVC, a vinyl extruded through a cutting-edge process to improve density. The end result is a highly-engineered, high-endurance material with the look of painted wood, but without the drawbacks of natural fibers. That means rain or shine, Legend windows resist cracks, swelling and all those other little surprises of nature. We are so confident in our product that we guarantee all exterior components for 25 years, and 20 years on insulated glass. The material can be bent to build virtually any custom radius product. Cellular PVC is also easily painted1 – something you just can’t do with hollow vinyl products.

Reverse dual-seal technology
In order to provide you with the highest quality insulated glass (IG) available on the market, we use an automated manufacturing system from Lisec, the world’s largest manufacturer of IG machinery, in our facilities. Our highly-automated glass line requires no manual manipulation, which dramatically reduces seal failures caused by human contact with the glass, while our robotic equipment provides an incredible level of accuracy for a fast and efficient material flow.
S u p e r Sp a c e r ® t e c h n o l o g y The Lisec production line features Super Spacer dual-seal moisture barrier technology, which is designed to be one of the most thermally efficient spacers in the marketplace, meeting or exceeding Energy Star guidelines in all zones. The all-foam Super Spacer reduces heat and cold conduction, which results in more comfortable living for homeowners and fewer callbacks for builders.

Quality Cardinal® LoE 366 Glass Windsor’s glass fabrication line uses high-performance coated glazing from Cardinal Glass Industries. The insulated glass units produced on this line will be our standard glazing option, featuring 3/4" dual pane LoE 366 insulated glass with argon gas. This IG will deliver improved U-value performance over most other insulated glass. In addition, Windsor will also produce clear, Dual Low-E and tempered insulated glass. The Dual Low-E glazing option combines Cardinal LoE 366 soft coat and Pilkington Energy AdvantageTM Low-E hard coat to create a super performance insulated glazing solution.
