Diagnosis: Superficial Peroneal Nerve Transection and Tibial Fracture from Chainsaw Laceration Deep lacerations result in possibility of injury to multiple structures, including nerves, bones, muscles, and tendons. Scar along the path of the laceration helps to define the extent of injury on imaging. Ultrasound can reveal injury to structures which may not be suspected clinically.
