X-Stretch: Airbag and Protection, Your Safety Companions

Airbags are integrated into our protective designs and safety-conscious mindset. We achieve this through the exclusive use of our highly elastic X-Stretch fabric, which is utilized across our range of jackets to allow the use of an airbag. Worn as a mid-layer, our airbags offers the ultimate protection against serious injuries and can, in extreme cases, save lives. However, it is not a simple design: To unlock the full protective effect of an airbag, you need fabrics with a very specific amount of stretch to allow full activation. To the same end, our designs deliberately avoid any additional internal seams or zips that could compromise the stretch function. The result is not only increased safety but also an elevated level of comfort.

Thanks to X-Stretch, our jackets are not only Airbag-ready, but also ensure an optimal fit and unhindered movement, allowing you to concentrate exclusively on riding. After all, what good is your gear if it pinches, scratches, or restricts your freedom of movement?

• Weather Protection: Our GORE-TEX® and solto-TEX® jackets and pants deliver reliable protection in wet conditions, meaning 100% waterproofness and maximum breathability. If you’re kitted out in Air or BigAir products, select a suitable rain jacket or pants from our line-up.

• Insulation: In cooler conditions, a fleece mid-layer provides the requisite thermal protection. Look for built-in wind-resistance if you want to block out the chill even more.

• Body Climate: Functional underwear—base layers worn directly on the skin—transports moisture away from your body, keeping the skin dry, and thus regulating your body temperature.

When worn wisely, these layers allow you to respond flexibly and functionally to all weather conditions and riding situations.

MEMBRANES

GORE-TEX® and solto-TEX®PLUS is a specialized textile technology developed for high-performance waterproof motorcycle gear, focusing on combining comfort with advanced protective features.

The membrane is located under the textile fabric and is firmly connected to it.

The membrane facilitates the evacuation of moisture and heat from inside the garment.

It consists of tiny pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule.

solto-TEX®PLUS and GORE-TEX® provide excellent windproofing, protecting the rider from cold wind chills.

How it works

GORE-TEX® and solto-TEX®PLUS both use specialized membranes to provide waterproofing and breathability.

GORE-TEX® features a microporous membrane that blocks water while allowing sweat to escape, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable.

solto-TEX®PLUS uses a similar membrane technology, ensuring protection from external moisture and internal perspiration. Both fabrics are designed to maintain comfort in various weather conditions, ideal for outdoor and performance wear.

iXS MAGNETIC CLOSURE

The patented* iXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC) enhances the safety, comfort, and handling of motorcycle gear, providing a revolutionary way to connect jackets and pants securely and efficiently. Powered by Fidlock.

To allow for a perfect fit, the iXS developer team has designed a flexible waistband width - the waistband can be adjusted up to 12 centimetres. For this purpose, two adjustment areas were installed in the waistband.

Practical: the strap system inside of the jacket - similar to suspenders that go over the shoulder and which give the pants a tight fit

At the same time, the pants and jacket can be combined into one by using the strong zipper on the back to attach the jacket to the pants - in the front, the innovative iXS Magnetic Connection System (MCS) perfectly attaches the jacket to the pants via the magnetic fidlock quick connects.
