CompTIA A+® Certification

CompTIA A+® Certification validates foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for a career in PC support. Obtaining certification proves competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting. This course will prepare you to take the 2 requisite exams, CompTIA A+ Essentials and CompTIA A+ Practical Application. Exam fee and textbooks are not included in tuition.

Prerequisites:

1. Students must have a High School Diploma, GED® or HSE Diploma.

2. Fluency in English on demand. This entry point into the technology field will allow you to continue building on your A+ knowledge by adding network technician to your resume via CompTIA Network+ Certification and continuing with advanced courses leading to Microsoft Certified Professional Certifications. See page 38 for more information.

Comp TIA Network+® Certification is a globally recognized certification attesting to competency in managing, maintaining, installing, troubleshooting, operating and configuring basic networking infrastructures. This course prepares you for the requisite exam. Exam fee and textbooks are not included in tuition.
