Basic Blueprint Reading (BBR)

This course is designed to emphasize the basic skills necessary to understand fundamental blueprint reading. Students will understand the basic views of objects and learn the meaning of commonly used lines, symbols and terms on blueprints, precision measuring, decimal tolerances, metric and customary units and angle measurement.

Basic Construction Estimating (BCE)

This course is designed as a gateway for trade specific estimating. Students will understand the different types of estimates and how to organize an estimating document to produce successful construction estimates. In addition, students will build a foundation of knowledge to estimate virtually any trade or project type.
