FDNY S-60 Watch Person at Construction Site

This course prepares students to pass the MetroTech computerbased-exam for the FDNY F-60 Fire Guard for Construction Site and Torch Operations Certificate of Fitness. Certificate of Fitness candidates will be prepared to pass the FDNY exam and learn the proper way to stand fire guard duty. All topics in the FDNY study guide are presented and explained. Students will learn about fire guard patrols, inspection records and logs, complex hot works evolutions and fire department notification procedures.

8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator (SAF-103)

This course is a shortened version of the 40-hour Site Safety Manager course that will introduce students to the hazards of working in the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site. This course is one of the requirements all applicants must successfully complete in order to apply for Site Safety Coordinator or to register for, or renew a Construction Superintendent license with the NYC DOB.

40-Hour Site Safety Manager (SAF-102)

This course is one of the pre-requisites an applicant must successfully complete before being eligible to apply for Site Safety Manager Certificate Examination. In addition, this course fulfills the training course requirements for Site Safety Coordinator and Construction Superintendent Certification in NYC. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion for 40 hours of training as mandated by the NYC Construction Codes.

8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher (SAF-201)

This course is a refresher to the 40-Hour Site Safety Manager Course and the 8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator Course, and serves as a comprehensive review of NYC regulations that pertain to public protection. This course provides students with safe job practices that are necessary on an urban construction site.
