Missed Orientation Fall 2014 If you missed the orientation this fall, please complete the following tasks: 1. Meet with Matt to complete the contract, receive the tutor manual, and complete the tutor information survey. 2. Meet with Desiree to receive one of the following make-up assignments. Written responses should be posted to the tutor blog. Assignments: A) Answer all questions on the handout outlining the orientation topics. B) Tutors can read Chapter 2 OR Chapter 3 of the Allyn and Bacon Reading. Then, in a one page response, do the following: Chapter 2: Select a quote that represents an important part of the writing process and connect it to something you do in your tutoring now. OR Chapter 3: Select a quote that represents the tutoring process and connect it to what changes you might make in your tutoring approach in the future. Please note, this is not a substitute for the full orientation, but an opportunity for you to join the conversation.
