In 17th Century London, the preferred hot drink for movers and shakers wasn’t a cup of coffee – it was cocoa. The famous diarist Samuel Pepys loved morning meetings over ‘a draught of chocolatte’, which he sometimes spilled on his collar. I think it’s high time cocoa made a comeback. This autumn we’re launching a brand new kind of cocoa drink called Cocoa Royale – an infusion of ground, roasted cocoa beans in hot water you can make in a cafetiere.
