“For my hen party, we returned to the scene of the engagement – London. It was a jampacked weekend, starting with Pretty Woman at the Savoy Theatre. Friday was a glam day where we had our make-up done then got dressed up to go cocktail-making. We went to some Covent Garden bars and finished off with a lovely meal at STK. Saturday was a chilled day and we had a wonderful Peter Panthemed afternoon tea overlooking London from the Aqua Shard. It was November so, of course, we visited Winter Wonderland to get into the festive spirit and did some Christmas shopping before leaving on the Sunday.”

“In America we call it a bachelorette party and mine is set for a weekend in late June at Dewey Beach, Delaware. I love the beach and usually go to the Jersey Shore but wanted somewhere a little different. It’s within driving distance for most of the group, which was key since I’m making everyone fly over to Scotland for the wedding! We rented an AirBbB right on the water and the house provides water toys, floats and kayaks. I like to keep it simple and just enjoy drinks with the girls so most of the time will be spent on the beach or at a bar with some live music.”

Looking for something closer to home?
