The 15,000 square foot Robert and Janice McNair Gymnasium at Houston Christian High School was completed in 2008 and provides a second regulation-size basketball and volleyball court for the HCHS campus. The court can also be set up for two side-by-side volleyball courts with a divider between for simultaneous matches. There is bleacher seating for 250. Two additional areas provide extraordinary practice and workout space for Mustang athletes. The Mike Johnston Weight Training Center is designed with a visually open concept and state-of-the-art equipment. The Mustang Cheer Room includes a unique spring-back floor for tumbling practice, commonly used in gymnastic training facilities, but rarely found on high school campuses.
