A MORPHIC CLUSTER OF floating molten metal is not a typical description of a chandelier — but this type of innovation is what drives Bocci’s creations. Light fixtures in its new 44 series are created by pouring liquid aluminum into a large canister filled with rock-like modules. Once the metal sets, the rocks are pulled away to reveal jagged clusters. Low-voltage electricity is transmitted through the casts, allowing the light source to be suspended between them without using cables. Tipsy Test Legendary crystal house Baccarat has opened its vast vault to bring back the Narcisse Collection, designed in 1971 by French sculptor Boris Tabacoff. Tabacoff’s affection for testing the limits of balance (which was also prevalent in his furniture) makes this off-centered design a daring take on the classic wine glass — and a guaranteed conversation-starter at your next dinner party. The vessels are sold in pairs ($420) and available as wine glasses or champagne coupes. Cheers! At Baccarat, in River Oaks District –mx
