Sh ab b at Shabbat with Houston Hillel In person Shabbat celebrations and dinners take place every Friday night at Houston Hillel, on campus, and around the community. Houston Hillel’s Shabbat dinners are sponsored by Elton and Janet Lipnick, David and Kathy Lipnick, and Amy and Myles Kelman in memory of Paul and Fannie Lipnick. The Lipnick/Kelman families have generously sponsored Houston Hillel’s Shabbat dinners in Paul and Fannie Lipnick’s memory each year since 2009.
