Enhancing property values and creating quality of life through recreation, community events and leadership

January 2015

New Year, New you! Did you make the annual New Year’s resolution to “hit the gym, exercise more, and improve your health?" A regular exercise routine boosts energy, helps manage weight, improves sleep quality, mood, and your ability to combat disease. HRCA’s top-quality fitness programs will help you meet your 2015 goals! Our fitness program is as diverse as our community. We offer a wide range of group exercise, small group, private and semi-private personal training, and specialty fitness classes. You can experience a high-energy Cardio Muscle, Kickboxing, or Zumba class and enhance your mind-body connection with yoga and Pilates practice. Our certified group fitness instructors and personal trainers lead safe, fun, and challenging exercise sessions. Classes are designed to increase overall strength, improve flexibility and balance, and challenge participants. The American College of Sports Medicine’s Fit Society Page states, “Working out with someone can be the smartest thing you can do to assure your accountability and ultimate consistency.” Pain should not deter you from exercise. We want to offer our community methods to combat chronic pain. In addition to our Gentle Yoga for Health Conditions, we have added a specialty fitness class - the MELT Method. This pain management practice rehydrates connective tissues and helps to promote healing and tension release. Regular MELT-ing restores energy and makes exercise more enjoyable. Our facilities and fitness studios are fully equipped and guaranteed to provide variety to your workout. Challenge yourself and your friends with a dynamic Indoor Cycling, Power Sculpt, or Zen Strength class. Or, drop off the little ones for a swim or dance lesson, art class or camp; and use that time to take advantage of the many exercise options available at the rec centers. Our neighborly and welcoming environment encourages all members to adhere to an exercise routine and promote healthy living. HRCA strives to build relationships and be actively involved in enhancing the well-being of our residents. Visit the web site to sign-up for a new class and get started on the “new you” today!
