The holidays are right around the corner and we have some fun activities for you and your family. Consider the Clay Lantern Holiday Gift Workshop on December 10 or the Handmade Clay Ornaments on December 3 and 17. These fun projects are a great way to spend some indoor time together, making memorable family household decorations that you’ll want to keep year after year. For your 3-6 year old, consider enrolling them in the Holiday Princess Camp. Princesses will get to participate in a fun holiday activity, sing and, of course, dance. Or your 2-7 year old
might enjoy our Candy Cane Tumblers Tumbling program on December 2 and 16. Children will participate in fun tumbling then listen to holiday music and share some hot cocoa. If you’re looking for a one-day class, try Winter Wonderland on December 9, Sensational Snowflakes on December 13, Happy Holiday Party on December 16, Christmas Curiosity or Holiday Home Goodies both on December 20. These holiday classics will warm your child up with yummy treats and great memories. For more information, please call 303-471-8928.
W i nt e r B r e a k F u n ! Are you trying to find something for your children to do over winter break? Well, look no further. We have a wonderful range of programs to suit any age or interest. If you’re a working parent and looking for a place your child can be for the whole day, the Southridge Day Camp is your place. Open from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. December 16, 19-23, and 26-30, children will swim, do holiday cooking, art and pottery projects, and go on a couple of field trips, too. If you’re looking for something for your child to get involved in for just a couple of hours a day, try Jedi Engineering with Lego®,
Pre-Engineering with Lego® for your 5-7 year old, Engineering FUNdamentals with Lego®, or Green Engineering with Lego® for your 7-11 year old. These wildly popular programs give your children a place to exercise their imaginations and have fun. For your 3-7 year old, consider our Tumble Through the Holidays program. This camp runs December 19 & 21 and December 27 & 29 and will give children a chance to tumble and do a craft. For more information on these programs, please call 303-471-8928.
P a i nt i ng th r o u gh a W i nt e r W o n d e r l a n d December brings a new series of art classes for you and your children. For your 3-5 year old, try KidzArt Discover, Play with Clay, or Edible Art all of which are mom and me classes designed around the winter theme. For your 5-10 year old, consider Winter Wonderland with KidzArt, Beginning Sculpting, Destination 3D or Young Chefs. These fun art, pottery, and cooking programs will stir up a wintery good time. For your 11-14 year old, try our TeenzArt Winter Games art class or the Intro to Wheel pottery class. Or if you are looking for something for you and your friends
to try together, consider the cooking class, A Simply Delicious Holiday. This program that runs on December 14 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. will help you find simple, delicious dishes that will keep your family at the dinner table just a little bit longer. Whatever suits your family, add that creative spark, and you’ll find your holidays are so much warmer. For more information, please call 303-471-8853.
A C h r i s tm a s C a r o l Bring your children to Southridge on December 12 at 6:30 p.m. for a special production of A Christmas Carol.
