THE HRCA DRAFT 2012 BUDGET – The HRCA staff and Finance Committee are now reviewing draft budget proposals for 2012. The Finance Committee members are volunteers with financial backgrounds in a number of areas. The committee makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding HRCA’s financial statements and annual budgets. In October, the Draft 2012 HRCA Budget will be presented to the Recreation Advisory Committee, which is comprised of our District Delegates. The Board of Directors will consider the budget recommendations and adopt a budget at the November Board Meeting.

BACKCOUNTRY WILDERNESS AREA – As our seasons change don’t miss out on the great opportunities to visit the trail systems, and participate in one of the many hikes or activities that happen during the fall in the Backcountry. Each year the public is encouraged to visit all the sculptures and vote for their favorite. The winner for 2010-2011 was announced at a reception on August 28 in Parker. The winner was Mark Castator for his piece entitled Tower of Cumae. Mark said, “It is so encouraging to see smaller

Easton Jiu Jitsu Open House Easton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will host a FREE open house on Saturday, October 15, 1:00 - 3:45 p.m., at Southridge.
