Proud Owner: Brittany Furr, Administrative Manager at Corporate Sebastian is a 5 month old Basset Hound. He loves to zoom around the house (as fast as his little legs will take him) and chew on mulch!
Cane
Proud Owner: Katherine Nayman, Risk Management Associate at Corporate Cane the Great Dane was born on 5/22/22. He loves to chew on his mom’s slippers. He is a goof ball and loves to play!

Brooks on Eleven66 By: Verified Resident / Apartment Ratings
The Brooks is a great place to live, the staff works very hard and very fast. They did just take over from different management, but they are doing a wonderful job fixing all the things that past management missed or plainly didn’t care about. For example, they will have the pool working very soon they have had it resurfaced, professionally cleaned, and waiting on the proper permits to be completed. They will soon have the gates fixed so our home can’t be accessed by people who are not welcomed. Along with these two things they have done a lot more, and I’m excited to see what they do next!
Hawthorne at Main By: Verified Resident / Apartment Ratings Love, love, love it here. Location is everything and the staff is beyond great and go out of their way to keep us happy. They are good friends. They have helped me personally more than once and always with a smile. Makes me feel at home. This is my happy place.
Hawthorne at the Glen By: Grace Gain / Google
My partner and I took a wonderful tour of a model apartment at Hawthorne at the Glen. Barbara was so enthusiastic and highly informative. She took the time to listen to our hopes and dreams for the apartment, answer all our questions, point out all the amenities, and even offered refreshing snacks! The tour was such a positive experience that we immediately sat down in the business center to apply.

I was suffering with an injured hip and The Meridian at the Port staff assisted me with my bags and mail before surgery and UPS medical packages today after my surgery. 5 stars. If I could give 6 I would. Thank you all from my heart.
Packing Back to School Backpacks
With school starting back this month, our corporate team filled over 200 backpacks with school supplies and delivered them to 2 local schools in Guilford County! The schools will be distributing to children who may not be able to afford necessary school supplies for the year.

The Hawthorne Experience Program recently launched! This new and improved program is designed to help us continue to engage and build rapport with our residents throughout their lease. Hawthorne Experiences are more than just events, they are designed to help our residents experience Hawthorne’s brand and to build awareness of Hawthorne’s Experience Program. One of our goals for Hawthorne Experiences is to increase resident satisfaction.
Last quarter communities were challenged to throw the ultimate pool party! Thank you to each of our communities who participated and showed a little extra kindness to our residents to make their experience special! We were blown away by your creativity and effort in making this one of the best resident experiences yet!

HOW TO KEEP YOUR TOP CANDIDATE
There is nothing more frustrating than finding the perfect candidate for your open position – and then hearing absolutely nothing back from them. An Indeed study shows that 1 in 5 employees are now “ghosting” their new employer. Candidates ghost for a variety of reasons - 20% said they received a better job offer, 13% thought the salary they were offered was too low, and 15% simply decided the job was not right for them. So how can you prevent your candidate from disappearing?
1. Manage their expectations. Remember that this candidate is not familiar with our company, so they do not necessarily understand HRP’s process when interviewing and hiring. Make sure that you explain to your candidate how long the interview process will take, who they will be speaking with during the interview, and how many interviews there will be. You do not want your candidate to feel in the dark or unimportant.
2. Continue the conversation with your candidate, even after you have offered them the position. Just because your candidate has accepted the offer does not mean that your work is completely done. Stay connected with your candidate throughout the entire onboarding process.
3. Keep your candidate updated. Let them know the next steps after they have been hired. When will they receive their drug test or background check information? Did you have to move their start date to later in the month? Check with your candidate to see if they need anything, and ask about their concerns, needs, and any issues they may be having. This can be as simple as a quick text or email.
The number one priority is to stay in constant communication with your candidate. It is a big decision for your candidate to leave their current position and it can be a very nerve-racking process for them. You have the capability to put their fears to ease and help them through the transition to ultimately join HRP. Keeping your candidates and new hires engaged can take some time and patience, but it is worth the consistent communication to make sure you find (and keep) the best person for the job!
