GUIDED BUSHWALK: ESTUARY WALK SUNDAY 16 MARCH 9.30AM - 12.30PM {

Meeting details will be advised upon booking This newer walk is aimed at showcasing estuary fauna, the diversity of riverside flora and the natural beauty of the Berowra Creek estuary. The walk passes through groves of rainforest accompanied by massive, tall eucalypt trees, at the foot of steep, wooded valley sides. We will look out for estuarine fish, though this will depend on state of tide and clarity of water. Goannas and water dragons may be encountered, plus a variety of bird species. The route follows the Great North Walk on the Hornsby Heights side of Berowra Creek, with a turnaround point approximately 3km upstream from Crosslands Reserve. Bring polarising sunglasses if you have them to help in spotting fish.
