The Standardized Patient Program has a toolkit to help you get started with building an effective methodology for using an SP within your curriculum. This toolkit includes checklists for: • Curriculum development • Case/scenario development • Evaluation and research • Debriefing • Feedback The SPP will help you determine your learning or behavioural objectives and the format to best facilitate those objectives, be it one-on-one, small group, peer feedback, class presentations, etc. The SPP will even help you develop and implement an evaluation process.
