With SCARP joining the Faculty of Applied Science in 2012, our work in Applied Science gets better. Students in UBC Applied Science (2011): 6874 5002 Undergraduate students 1222 Masters students 650 Doctoral students In 2011, the Faculty awarded: 943 Bachelor’s degrees 341 Master’s degrees 86 Doctoral degrees UBC Applied Science Faculty (2011): Total number of full-time faculty members: 232 UBC Vancouver; 34 UBC Okanagan Grants and Contracts (2010/2011): Total number of grants, contracts, or agreements regarding research awarded and/or tendered: $53M over 858 awards ($23.6M from Tri-council) FULL SPEED AHEAD Our students and researchers grapple with society’s most complex problems and discover new solutions that positively change our communities.
