A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY

BIGGER AND BETTER

The Faculty of Applied Science is one of UBC’s three founding faculties. We combine the best learning opportunities with innovative research.

From a handful of students to hundreds of alumni sixty years later, the School of Community and Regional Planning is growing.

We welcome your involvement in creating new opportunities for future planning professionals and current researchers.

This year and in each following year, you are connected to new alumni in the Faculty of Applied Science who will lead the process of building great solutions to today’s most complex challenges.

Enhance opportunities for tomorrow’s future planning professionals. Share your experiences though guest lectures or field trips to your office/site. Each opportunity you provide better prepares our students to meet the challenges of their communities. Today’s students lead us to tomorrow’s solutions. Help ease the financial burden of a top-tier education by supporting scholarships and awards. Your gift helps our students to devote their time and energy in defining what our communities are today and what they can be tomorrow. INSPIRE CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH From addressing the needs of indigenous communities to demystifying the effects of urban transit corridors on human health, our faculty members lead planning and community development research across the disciplines. If you need research done or have some good ideas that should be developed, we welcome your involvement in our research programs. INVEST IN YOUR PASSION With your support, we can create positive and lasting change for applied inquiry and our world. Please call us at 604.822.9454 to explore what we could do together.
