American and Alabama Flag Display at Chamber Events August 2018 – July 2019

Sponsor the Chamber’s huge American and Alabama flags for 2018-19! These flags will hang at many Chambersponsored events such as the Washington, Alabama and Local Updates and at the Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon. Your sponsorship of these flags as a patriotic backdrop for these events will be noted in both printed and electronic programs during each event. This is an effective and positive statement of your organization’s support of our community and its many partners (such as Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center) and will reach a large and varied audience.

Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon June 2018

To help the community celebrate the role that Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact that it has on our region, the Chamber is pleased to host a week-long Armed Forces Celebration. The luncheon is the signature event for the Celebration. Redstone is the home of the four-star Army Materiel Command and a dozen other Army, Missile Defense and Defense Intelligence Agencies, Commands and Offices. Over 40,000 people work on Redstone and more than $50 Billion in federal budgets are managed on the base. The 2018 Armed Forces Celebration is scheduled for the week of June 24 - 30, 2018. Please join us for a very special celebration of Redstone Arsenal and its leadership. POC: Austin Bullock, abullock@hsvchamber.org or 256-535-2031 * Please note: Two of the eight seats at all sponsored tables will be filled by military or Army civilian guests as we honor our Armed Forces family.

Montgomery Trip 2019

The Chamber’s annual trip to the Alabama Capitol provides an opportunity to meet with key leaders in state government and to remind them of the critical role they play in our success as a region. Past trips have included meetings with members of the Governor’s Cabinet and the leadership of the Alabama Legislature. Local businesses and elected leaders who participate find it an excellent opportunity to network with other community leaders and familiarize themselves with Montgomery and our critical state issues. Redstone Update 2018

Redstone Arsenal is the economic engine that powers roughly half of the Huntsville metro economy. If you don’t work on base, learning about what takes place on Redstone can be confusing with all of the acronyms, oddly named military commands and other lesser-known federal agencies. Those who are familiar with the Arsenal have few opportunities to learn about many of the other activities that lie outside their immediate area of responsibility. Redstone is the nation’s nerve center for Army material management and a leading center for federal research and development. Redstone is the center of gravity for the Missile Defense Agency and the home of the Army’s aviation, missile, and missile defense programs and commands. It also serves as NASA’s nerve center for development of space exploration systems and space science. Significant FBI and ATF explosives research labs and test ranges are also located on Redstone Arsenal. Commands and Agencies located on Redstone are responsible for the efficient management of well over $50 billion in federal spending.

Sponsorship

The Chamber will host a half day “Redstone Update” seminar and a luncheon in the last quarter of 2018 featuring presentations from Redstone’s diverse tenants to provide information concerning where these commands and the installation are headed in the future.

Space Launch System (SLS) Green Run Engine Test and Fabrication Tour TBD NASA continues with its preparations to send the Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion Capsule to the Moon in 2019. One of the major milestones preceding the launch will come when NASA tests the fully assembled core stage of the SLS system, in a “Green Run” test. At that time, all four RS 25 engines will be fired in their launch configuration. In order to help build awareness of the SLS program’s achievements, the Chamber is arranging a visit to the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi for the Green Run test and a tour of the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, where the core stage of the SLS rocket is being manufactured. The overnight trip will include bus transportation from Huntsville, a reception in New Orleans, hotel and some meals.

Chamber Presentation Folio 2019

These high-quality presentation folios are used year-round by Chamber staff and board members as our official Chamber Presentation Folio for regional, state and national economic development activities, for responding to proposals in recruiting new industries, and for marketing the Huntsville/Madison County region. They also are used by membership for new members. This folio is often one of the first impressions made with potential site selection committees, C-Suite executives and other key stakeholders who are considering Huntsville for a new facility, an expansion project, or with elected officials. By sponsoring the Chamber Presentation Folio, your company has the opportunity to be the first company these influencers recognize.

CRP Website Sponsor

NEW

March 2018 - December 2019

The Cummings Research Park website has been operating as a page within the Chamber’s website for many years. As part of the Chamber’s re-brand, CRP received an upgrade in design and content. Given the recently completed new master plan, the Park events and activities, engaged social media and new amenities coming online, CRP will be designing and launching an independent website in 1st Quarter of 2018. The current CRP webpage on the Chamber website is seen by nearly 3,400 with an average time on page of 1:46. We know a new website with a promotional campaign will get much greater visibility. The newly-designed website (see mock-up) will also feature a CRP events calendar (with CRP-managed events and other company and organizational events that take place inside the Park), more active news function, the new CRP amenities map, and additional functionality across the site.

The launch of the site and site placement will be featured prominently on CRP social media, in CRP Connect editions, and through the Chamber communication outlets. The CRP website is also featured in presentations and pitches to new and expanding companies that are learning about and interested in locating/growing in CRP. The Presenting Sponsorship of the new CRP website is for the landing page of www.cummingsresearchpark.com. The Presenting Sponsorship will be featured as the only sponsor logo with the tag, “Website sponsored by (logo)” and include a link to your website.

State of the Schools February 2019

In partnership with The Schools Foundation, our annual State of the Schools event focuses on the mission, vision, data and strategic goals for the future of public education across Madison County. It will feature presentations by the superintendents of each district: Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools and Madison County Schools. In addition, attendees will hear from State Representative(s) on state goals and objectives. This event highlights the Pre-K – 12 education programs across Madison County that are preparing students for long-term success in our region. This event is a premier opportunity for the business community to hear directly from educators about programs, policy, and performance in our local systems. POC: Jill Bruton jbruton@hsvchamber.org or 256-535-2008 Elizabeth Fleming Elizabeth@theschoolsfoundation.org or 256-535-2080 One of the eight seats at all sponsored and reserved tables will be filled by a local school board member or K-12 representative as we honor our three education systems.
