Terms and Conditions •

A 25% cancellation fee will be charged if contract is canceled for any reason.

•

Refunds to credit cards will be charged a 6% processing fee. No refunds two weeks prior to event or beginning of sponsorship.

•

Sponsorships will be invoiced 60-90 days prior to the event if possible and are due as invoiced.

Some sponsorship fees are due and payable at the time of signed contract.

•

See completed signed contracts for any additional terms and conditions that may apply.

•

The Chamber reserves the right to modify a sponsor logo in regards to it being presented in color, black or white for inclusion on Chamber artwork.

•

Payment for all contracts must be received prior to event date or publicity for non-event contracts.

CUMMINGS RESEARCH PARK

CRP Amenities Map 2021

Bridge Street offers many options in the Park, but did you know there are additional open-to-the-public breakfast, lunch and coffee places in CRP? Do you know where the Huntsville Shuttle stops in the Park or where you can charge your electric car? And how do you get to the Indian Creek Greenway anyway?

JANUARY 2020

Our custom, caricature-style map highlights all that and more found in the Park. The map debuted in early 2018 in both print and digital form. An animated form of the map will be on our CRP website in 2020. The printed map is distributed to our companies and at our events.

Additionally, the map is distributed as part of registration packets for several national conferences that take place in the Park. In 2019 we printed and distributed 500 copies.

We also utilize features of the map for promotion across the Park’s social media platforms.

This monthly e-newsletter offers high visibility and is sent to CRP companies and employees located in Cummings Research Park (CRP). The newsletter is sent twice a month: one featuring news and information (CRP Connect) and the other is focused on events in the Park (CRP Connections).

These newsletter editions will keep CRP companies and their employees updated on CRP events, news of interest regarding technology and innovation from the companies that call CRP home, as well as other items of interest occurring in the Park.

CRP Food Truck Fests 2021 Monthly (April - November)

The CRP food truck lunchtime fests return beginning April 2021. Our fests take place at 990 Explorer Blvd (corner of Explorer & Discovery Dr.). Once again, we will feature tent-covered seating and adirondack chairs in the shade at each fest, plus fun activities to bring the fun back to lunch!

We look forward to partnering each Food Truck Fest to benefit a local charity.

Each Food Truck Fest occurs from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from April to November. Join us to celebrate local food and local nonprofits in Cummings Research Park!

2020 Monthly (May - November) Building on the success of the 2019 Pop-Up Series, we are again featuring the Pop-Up Series for popsicles and happy hours.

Ain’t No Party Like a Popsicle Party: The Pop-Up Popsicle Party will be featured twice a month in May, June, and July at the Point at Lake 4. The “pops” will be provided by Steel City Pops or Suzy Pops. Attendees walk from nearby buildings or drive and park to partake of their free pop. Last year, we consistently gave away 150-200 popsicles at each event.

Come On, Get Happy Happy Hour: Pop-Up Happy Hours return monthly on Thursdays from 4–6 p.m. in September, October and November with the theme, Come On, Get Happy. These happy hours will offer wine/beer to enjoy lakeside. CRP employees who pop by will be given two tickets for drinks to enjoy.

We typically average around 50 people per happy hour.

Alabama Legislative Update Virtual - January 2021 Tennessee Valley legislators hold some of the most powerful State Legislative leadership positions. This annual event provides Alabama’s governor with an opportunity to update the Huntsville/Madison County business community on critical state business legislation and issues. Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon In celebration of the role that Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact on our region, the Chamber hosts a week-long Armed Forces Celebration. The luncheon is the signature event.

Redstone is the home of the four-star Army Materiel Command and a dozen other Army, Missile Defense and Defense Intelligence Agencies, Commands and Offices.

Over 40,000 people work on Redstone and more than $50 Billion in federal budgets are managed on the base.

Montgomery Trip 2021

The Chamber’s annual trip to the Alabama Capitol provides an opportunity to meet with key leaders in state government and reaffirm collaboration with our state elected officials. Past trips have included meetings with members of the Governor’s Cabinet and the leadership of the Alabama Legislature. Local businesses and elected leaders who participate find it an excellent opportunity to network with other community leaders and familiarize themselves with Montgomery and our critical state issues. Last year’s trip included over 90 attendees. The Montgomery Trip will be an overnight stay.

Redstone Update

Virtual – November 5, 2020 Redstone Arsenal is the economic engine that powers roughly half of the Huntsville metro economy. If you don’t work on base, learning about what takes place on Redstone can be confusing with all of the acronyms, military commands and other lesser-known federal agencies. Those who are familiar with the Arsenal have few opportunities to learn about many of the other directives that lie outside of their scope of responsibility.

Redstone is the nation’s nerve center for Army materiel management and a leading center for federal research and development. Redstone is the center of gravity for the Missile Defense Agency and the home of the Army’s aviation, missile, and missile defense programs and commands. It also serves as NASA’s nerve center for development of space exploration systems and space science. Significant FBI and ATF facilities are also located on Redstone Arsenal.

The Chamber will host a virtual “Redstone Update” seminar featuring presentations from Redstone’s diverse tenants to provide information concerning where these commands and the installation are headed in the future.

Washington DC Trip 2021

Live, Work, Play, and STAY in Huntsville! ASmartPlace Intern Cookouts are focused on retaining our interns summer co-op students. The main goals of this event are to allow student workers to connect and learn more about our area and the career opportunities here. These events will be held in CRP, and there will be two Intern Cookouts during the summer of 2021. During our intern events held in 2019, we had more than 200 interns attend from 20 different companies and 40 different colleges.

Second Chance Job Fair 2021 (2 Events)

The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with the local Alabama Career Center, the Alabama Community College System, nonprofits, and community agencies to help bridge the gap between the under resourced job seeker and our employers. The Second Chance Job Fair will provide opportunities for individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, have dropped out of high school, who are not achieving their full potential, or are in need of a second career chance. In 2019, the year we debuted this concept, more than 1,000 job seekers attended the two fairs to meet with employers.

The mission of this initiative is to assist our local companies in finding capable workers and to empower members of our community by improving their quality of life and financial stability.

The Chamber’s marketing efforts for this event won the grand award for Communications Excellence by ACCE (Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives)!

Senior Sprint Career Fair April 2021

The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, Madison County Schools, the local Alabama Career Center, the Alabama Community College System, and community agencies to provide career opportunities for graduating high school seniors who have not enrolled in a 2-year college or university or made firm post-graduation plans.

Senior Sprint will create a bridge from high school to the workforce by providing graduates across all three school districts in Madison County with several career and training opportunities and raise awareness about careers which will guide them toward employment.

The 2019 Senior Sprint reached nearly 200 graduating seniors.

State of the Schools Virtual - February 2021

In partnership with The Schools Foundation, our annual State of the Schools event focuses on the mission, vision, data and strategic goals for the future of public education across Madison County. It will feature presentations by the superintendents of each district: Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools and Madison County Schools. In addition, attendees will hear updates on state goals and objectives. This event highlights the Pre-K–12 education programs across Madison County that are preparing students for long-term success in our region. This event is an excellent opportunity for the business community to hear directly from educators about programs, policy, and performance in our local systems.
