CRP 60th Anniversary: Family Fun Day
NEW
October 2022
Come celebrate CRP’s 60th with a renewed focus on the family. Harkening back to the 60s, many of our CRP founders were inherently family-focused in their company mission. What better way to celebrate our milestone anniversary than another day for the whole family to enjoy in the Park. Family Fun Day will be in October 2022 and will include events for all ages throughout the day. From an expo featuring interactive booths by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, government agencies, companies and more with family activities, fun and information all around Lake 4 to RC model boat races on Lake 4, a candy drop for the kids nearby and we’ll wrap it up with a CRP drive-in movie at MidCity. Lots of food, fun and family abound at the CRP Family Fun Day. Sponsor this unique event to celebrate CRP’s history and our future!

CRP Amenities Map 2022
Bridge Street offers many options in the Park, but did you know there are additional open-to-the-public breakfast, lunch and coffee places in CRP? Do you know where the Orbit stops in the Park or where you can charge your electric car? And how do you get to the Indian Creek Greenway anyway?
JANUARY 2020
Our custom, caricature-style map highlights all that and more that can be found in the Park. The map is featured on our CRP website and is distributed to our companies and at our events. On the website, the map is animated and linkable to the amenities listed. Several CRP companies have included the maps in their recruiting packages. Additionally, the map is printed and distributed as part of registration packets for several national conferences that take place in the Park. Each year, we distribute hundreds of copies. We also utilize features of the map for promotion across the Park’s social media platforms. Armed Forces Celebration: Gold Star Family Reception
NEW
June 20, 2021 Remembering and Honoring Gold Star Families A Gold Star Family is the immediate family member(s) of a fallen service member who died while serving in a time of conflict. Our Community’s Armed Forces Celebration has long included a reception honoring the families of those who have lost a loved one while serving in the Armed Forces. This year, we’re planning a new way to honor those family members, capitalizing on the inaugural season of the Trash Pandas baseball team at the new Toyota Field. We are offering two sponsorships to support the Gold Star Family reception at the Trash Pandas home game on June 20. We’ve reserved the private Party Deck at Toyota Field to host our event. Sponsorships include tickets to the game and access to this venue where food and beverages are provided at no charge. Additional sponsorship details are provided below.

Supervisors and Managers, listen up! Best-selling author and speaker Glenn Shepard is back to offer one of the top-rated management and front line supervisory trainings in America. This is a full-day workshop designed for managers and supervisors who are on the front lines directly managing two or more employees. In 2019, more than 250 people attended this engaging session, gaining wisdom and developing strategies that you too can put into action back at the office. Learn how to truly manage others successfully and build a team of rock star employees! Sponsorship POC: Kristy Drake - kdrake@hsvchamber.org or 256-535-2036 Event POC: Amberly Kimbrough - akimbrough@hsvchamber.org or 256-535-2031
“I’ve never been to a seminar like this before. Glenn offered straightforward and simple solutions to a manager of various employees types, and the unwanted behaviors associated with these personality types. It was directly explained how to deal with problematic employees.” John S. D’Aray, Selex Galileo, Inc. “I thought I knew a lot about people management, but I found how much more I didn’t know. Great info that I can put to use immediately in the workplace and at home.” Tom Cunningham, 4Site, Inc.
“Every manager/supervisor needs to attend this training. In fact, most employees need to have a piece of this training. I am planning to share this with my employees.” Habtamu Gurma, Title Cash, Inc. “Extremely enlightening management seminar that I would recommend to anyone in a leadership role.” Cam Penter, Vulcan Heating & Air

Member Connection eblast 2022
The Member Connection is sent to over 6,300 Chamber members and key stakeholders twice monthly. It is designed to provide direct member-to-member marketing opportunities. This sponsorship opportunity gives sponsoring companies high-impact visibility to email recipients, as well as thousands more through eblast passalongs and on our website. The eblast and digital format allows a recipient to forward the email or share via social media. They also can share the link to Member Connection on our website via their social media channels, etc.
YOU R L OGO H ER E
The Member Connection works like this: Members provide a PDF “flier” showcasing their announcement, news, message or event (ex: a discount, event, or even a new staff member). We also use the Member Connection to welcome our new members and new HREGI investors. In addition to the eblast, the fliers will be posted on the Chamber website under Member Connection. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with local businesses and their employees and share your company message.
