Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness Training:
Living with Greater Ease and Happiness in Turbulent Times
Practicing mindful stress-reduction can change your life by rewiring the way your brain responds to life's challenges. These practices increase life-satisfaction, happiness, creativity and gratitude and reduce stress, anxiety, depression and fear of failure. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning skills to better tolerate life's inevitable emotional and physical ups and downs and improve focus, resilience, energy and creativity.
Participants will learn and practice:
• Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) which includes training the mind to be more in the present moment
• Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)
• How to more skillfully manage challenging emotions
• Boosting gratitude & appreciation for the positives in life

Taking care of our mental health is paramount to our overall wellbeing. The Mental Wellness Workshop is designed to raise awareness of how the outside world is impacting our mental health. At the end of the workshop participants should have a greater understanding of why taking care of our mental health is important and should be able to apply the learned strategies to create a healthier mental state.
