The Class B automatic training is FREE of charge and is open to Alabama residents who are 18+ years of age!

The students have a few requirements that they must provide before they can join a class roster:

• Class B learner’s Permit

• Base Driver’s License

• DOT Physical and Medical Examiner’s Certificate

• Clean Driving Record (must provide a copy of the record before class begins and must be dated within 30 days of the course start date).

• DOT Drug Screen Results (Must be dated within 30 days of the course start date).

• October 16 – 20, 2023

• February 12 – 16, 2024

• March 18 – 22, 2024

• May 13 – 17, 2024

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) is best known for the Ronald McDonald House. RMHCA also operates a Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAB Women and Infants Center to support even more families.

RMHCA serves families from the entire state of Alabama by providing housing when they must travel to a Birmingham hospital to receive medical care for their sick or injured child. In 2022, the Ronald McDonald House provided 332 family stays* for 218 families from the Huntsville Metro Area. That totals 3,209 nights families stayed together and were provided comfort and care.
