PROJECT 1 -ELEVATED NEIGHBORHOOD

In the 21st century, people began to realize that abundant land resources could not keep up with its growing demand. As demand continues to increase over time, a skyscraper solution has been proposed, which leverages the capacity of the land by building superstructures to support a larger population. The project designed an elevated community that rises from the ground at a certain height.

The lower part of the building and the ground are used for urban agriculture, community gardens and basic shops, while the upper part of the complex creates a self-contained community. Housing is the main function of the complex, which also houses public spaces such as studios, gardens and learning centers.

Upper partself-contained community: Housing, studios, gardens, learning centers, bar.

The purpose of the design is to explore a new way of analyzing land value in an urban environment. Buildings above the land can protect the agricultural areas below from heat, with shade and thermal comfort.

PROJECT 2 -ARCHED GROWTH

-The activity area is connected to the road on the east side.

This allows the project to connect the residents of the town centre and the buildings on the east side.

-Through the green arrangement, an outdoor public square is formed.

-The project area is close to the city center and residents need a space where they can gather for activities.

Therefore, the design of landscape activity area plays an important role in the development of urban functions.

PROJECT 3 -FUN BOXES

Passenger train travel, a revolutionary creation in mass mobility, began 200 hundred years ago, between stations of the Liverpool Manchester Railway. In September 2030 there are plans to celebrate the bicentenary both in the cities of Manchester and Liverpool and at operating train stations along its route. Each of these train stations will host connected celebrations throughout the year and will mark this occasion with bespoke exhibitions and events which will welcome new visitors and existing commuters alike. A nomadic bicentenary carnival party will arrive and depart via stations along the Liverpool Manchester route. Huyton (formerly Huyton Gate) is one of these stations.

Huyton Village will host a series of performance events throughout the year, beginning and culminating with station arrivals and departures via an Exhibition/ Carnival hub.

This project is aiming to design a demountable carnival / exhibition and incubator hub with public realm at the tip of the high street: Huyton Station Gateway. It will house three events : carnival performances , exhibition of the history, incubator activities.

The project is located at the Huyton station - one of the stations between the Liverpool-Manchester Railway. The site area is located at one end of Huyton Village High Street. It will become Huyton Station Gateway –located on a site adjacent and linked to the station. There is a car park on the north side of the station, will be the main area of the project.

When I arrived at Huyton station, it was a rainy day, the air felt cold, the sky was grey, people waited for train in silence, there is no vitality.

With the carnival opportunity, Huyton has the potential to be revitalized. People come back here for carnival, Everyone will enjoy Huyton. I want to paint Huyton colorful and make the site fun.

PROJECT 4 -INDOOR JOURNEY

Huyton Village Green (HVG) is a green urban regeneration project with food, culture, learning and performance at its heart. It builds on the legacy of Knowsley Borough of Culture.

HVG will be a cultural and community hub - giving the people of Huyton, and beyond, space to connect, play, learn and grow. Permeated throughout by diffuse library and growing (plus performance) spaces, HVG will offer a cinema and restaurant, plus flexible working and events spaces including a rooftop garden. The codesigned space will nourish wellbeing, inspiring a love of learning and boost Huyton’s. day and night-time economies.

This project is going to produce a permanent and regenerative multi function cultural and performance space hub. It will repurpose 1- 8 Cavendish Walks adjacent to its church at the former village heart. The carnival can end here. We are going to evolve this by looking at the TOP of the high street celebrating Curiosity, Identity, Connectedness, Communication and Learning through the design of a multi-function cultural and community and performance hub reusing existing buildings. We will be creating street frontage upgrades/ refurbishment/ reintegration with public realm and creating an exclamation mark at the TOP of the high street for the second gathering of the carnival!

PROJECT 5 -MELTMALLOWS

The design for the cinema was focus on the integration of the concessions. Concessions are becoming an increasingly important reason for people to go to the cinema, and are integrated into the current experience of watching movies. The studio work started with the candy research, the observation of the chosen candy is reflected in the design, such as the material and spatial arrangement of the building.

Inspired by the heating properties of marshmallows, the appearance of the building incorporates the threads produced by melting marshmallows and the expression of the transformation from solid to liquid. The overall architectural style reflects the soft, fluffy character of the marshmallow, create a relaxing and cozy viewing experience for customers.

The topography of the site is undulating, space in the low-lying areas uses rainwater to freeze into ice for skating activities. All design details avoid right angles to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for customers.
