Mass for people of French Heritage August 15

The annual Mass for People of French Heritage will be celebrated in the French language at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church in Mathews, Monday, Aug. 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, patron feast of the Acadian people. The Mass will begin at 6 p.m., with Father Daniel Duplantis as the presider. A reception will follow the Mass at the St. Hilary parish hall. BC
