In 1940s Sezi Isle was the vital place where provided a vast amount of rice and vegtable for Taipei City. However as Sezi Isle is relatively low topography,it frequently has been suffering from constant flooding. In 1970s The government has prohibited any kind of constructions and it became flooding area due to prevent flooding in Taipei. Nowadays there are variety of illegal factories and uneconomic farmlands as well as lots of pumping stations in Sezi Isle. What the next step is in a strategy of deveplement in the future?

Shezi Isle is a place for storing the indispensible life “equipments” for Taipei City.

There are variety of porblems in Shezi Isle except flooding, for instacne abundoned farmland, river pollution and Incinerator pollution. Those problems would be anaylized and sorted out the most basic fators. According to the concept of Re-nature Incubator, we can reseach and find out the best soultion to Shezi Isle.

Man needs to coexist with the nature. But urbanization and artificialization tend to control, exploit, and reproduce the natural system. It is when these counter effects amount to threatening human existence that the boundary between man and the nature is brought to the foreground. This boundary does not necessarily mean mutual exclusion, but coexistence and mutual dependence between man and the nature. Man needs the natural environment as much as the nature needs its own cyclical domain. The boundary is rather an intermediate zone with rich gradations.

This is a X-city project, through the observation of urban phenomana in Taichung. The “luxury apartments ” and “temporary recpetion center” is prominent for the high density of popualtion and business activity districts in recent years. The temporacy reception center where the unbuilt luxury apartments are sold to the wealthy is unique and usually catches people ‘s eyes. However the luxury apartments actually do not have a exclusive appearance as same as reception center.Nevertheless most of residential units are identical in the apartment, the more expensieve units do not possess the attracitve characteristic, when the wealthy are attracted by the reception center leading to purchasing the luxury apartments.

Programming and concept * The relationship between leaf and venation as same as inhabitant and servant.

Luxury apartements need the servant to provide severice as leaf need a venation transport nutrition. In another words, since venation lacks of leaf ,it will wither as luxury apartments do not have service system, it will be apartments. Maid unit is saperated from residential unit

Maid units are gathered together and become a residential system of servant

After the above reseach, using this concept for spatial development, then I set up the prototype including public space , transtition area and privacy space. The following stage is using the spatial concept to organise the house and considering deeply what effect is according to this spatial relationship.

The project starts from reseaching specific artist, and I figure out the properties and concepts of his works . First of all I transform this concept to the device. Then I reserch what differnt vision in term of different position of circle when we see via the vision filter devices. 24
